Q: What and Ron and Natalie doing now?

A: Individually and collectively, Ron and Natalie continue to believe in, pursue and achieve dreams. Miss Natalie's Workshop, featuring whimsical Gullah Island gifts and handcrafts, opened on St. Helena Island in March 2000. Products handpainted and handcrafted by Natalie are available at Ms. Natalie's Workshop and can also be ordered online. In February 2000, Ron premiered Sweet Surprises, a music production of original one-of-a-kind love songs! Ron is creator, songwriter and star performer. The production, available for bookings, is a "A Feel-Good Theatrical Celebration of Love, Friendship, Passion and Joy!" For a sampler, go to our Music page.


Q: Are those your real kids in the TV show?

A: Two of them are! Simeon, the baby on the show, is our son and Sara, one of the neighbor children and Shaina's "best friend" is our daughter. But all of the children felt like ours. We had a great time together!


Q: What is Binyah Binyah doing now?

A: Binyah Binyah is a little shyer than he used to be, but he's still on Gullah Gullah Island, hanging out in his favorite old oak tree and enjoying little people who like to play as much as he does.
